About the band
The Sunny Hill Pickers are a local acoustic bluegrass band from Seattle. Known for hosting energetic and impromptu live shows with occassional special guests, they've become a Ballard neighborhood fixture — especially at craft breweries during the summer.
Their sets move through tight traditional bluegrass, originals, and the occasional rock & roll detour — driven by three-part harmony and improv pickin' and the motto "Great Beer, Great Music, Good Times!" Performing often as a 5-piece and sometimes as a trio to fit the space and audience.
